ECWP Conservation Strategy

To cope with an emergency situation caused by the drastic decline of houbara bustard natural populations, the ECWP has implemented a comprehensive conservation strategy based on a multidisciplinary approach, combining fundamental and applied researches, conservation breeding (ex-situ conservation), reinforcement and protection of declining populations in their natural environment (in-situ conservation).
